Whats Involved

Our Motorcycle Maintenance Classes are back for 2025/26! We offer a range of courses depending on prior experience from complete beginners to home mechanics . Our 1 day course comprises of sessions taking you through all aspects of basic motorcycle maintenance upon completion of the course you will be given a DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme certificate in Motorcycle Maintenance

We also offer a 4 day advanced course which is designed to build on the foundation of the 1 day course with a more in-depth view of all subjects.

Our NEW Institute of Motor Industry Motorcycle Technician Certification designed for experienced amateur mechanics looking to get into the motorcycle industry or motor vehicle technicians looking to branch out into motorcycles. The course has been developed in house and approved by the Institute of the Motor Industry which comprises of an overview including practical training of most common service and repair tasks as well as assessments which once complete to the approved standard you will become a certified motorcycle technician - More Information Here

1 Day Course:

Multiple Dates Available - See Below

  • Session 1: Routine Maintenance such as Safety Checks, Chain Cleaning/Lubrication, Cable Lubrication, Fluid Checks etc
  • Session 2: Chassis and Frame such as Wheel Bearing Checks/Changes, Shock Absorber Pivot Lubrication etc
  • Session 3: Engine Servicing such as Oil and Filter Changes, Air Filter Changes, Basic Valve Clearances etc
  • Session 4: Braking System such as Fluid Changes, Bleeding Brakes, Changing Brake Pads/Shoes
  • Session 5: Electrical Systems such as Basic Fault Diagnosis and Preventative Maintenance

4 Day Course:

Multiple Dates Available - See Below

  • Day 1: Chassis and Frame such as Wheel Bearing Checks/Changes, Fork Seals, Chain and Sprocket Changes etc
  • Day 2: Engine Servicing such as Oil and Filter Changes, Air Filter Changes, Valve Clearances, Cylinder Head Removal etc
  • Day 3: Braking System such as Fluid Changes, Bleeding Brakes, Caliper/Master Cylinder Rebuilds 
  • Day 4: Electrical/Fuel Systems such as Fault Diagnosis, Loom Repairs, Relay Installation etc

IMI Motorcycle Technician Course:

9th - 12th January 2026 (Course) then 16th - 19th Janaury 2026 (Assessments)

The course comprises of:

Health and Saftey including Tools

Module 1: Chassis and Frame such as Wheel Bearing Checks/Changes, Fork Seals, Chain and Sprocket Changes etc

Module 2: Engine Servicing such as Oil and Filter Changes, Air Filter Changes, Valve Clearances, Cylinder Head Removal etc

Module 3: Braking System such as Fluid Changes, Bleeding Brakes, Caliper/Master Cylinder Rebuilds 

Module 4: Pre MOT and Electrical/Fuel Systems such as Fault Diagnosis, Loom Repairs, Relay Installation etc

Upon successful completion of the course you will be issued your IMI Motorcycle Technician Certification.
